Said they were the government and I was missing important information.

Missed call 21 August. Asian accent said was was Aust Govt. Left voicemail in Chinese. Have they taken over the Govt????

Scam targeting at Chinese people, claimed that they called from Australian government and “press 2 for Chinese”

Caller: Delta communications

When answered they it was a recorded message from the ‘Australian government’. I hung up, called back and got the company Delta Communications

They called claiming to be the government, they wanted missing information and that I would be transferred to another artificial speaker and said to press 1 for English 2 for Chinese then spoke in Chinese before hanging up themselves. The government wouldn’t call you like that asking for information and they most definitely would not hanging up on you, clear scam. Do not pick up and most definitely do not give any information.
