Caller: Paypal - Scammer

Lady from "The Paypal" said there is fraudulent activity on my account and needed me to confirm the code via whats App to get into "The Paypal" - had them on the phone for 20 mins pretending to not know what i was doing they eventually got tired of me not giving them the information they needed and hung up on me

Message from Telstra about this caller : warning! Suspicious calling pattern

Stated they were from PayPal. Got angry when I logged into my app and called their bluff, and angrily asked who told me to access my account while on the phone to them. I told them to stop preying on people and hung up

Possible scam - unknown number - no message left

Missed call this morning, I called back and listened to a recorded message "thank you for calling China Tipping Insurance ...etc" SCAM

Caller: ‘Jenny from PayPal’

Jenny from PayPal asking if I’d authorised a transaction 45 mins ago. I said she sounded like a scam “‘Ma’am, I’m calling gel
PayPal”. Last time I checked PayPal don’t have offices that come up with ‘Maitland NSW’. I laughed & hung up.

Said he was from Telstra. I asked if he wanted my credit card details so he could charge me heaps. He swore at me and called me names. Great customer service. Message service was 'China tipping service'
Wish telstra would close down this phone number or reverse charge them for my time.

Total scam claiming NBN is not working properly, they want to do an investigation, and ask to be put on speaker with aim of accessing your computer/account. Very pushy and sound professional. Call comes up as coming from Maitland NSW

Female maybe Indian caller tried to get my paypal code. Said i'd had an unauthorised transaction. Accent was very strong so was hard to understand. Hung up

Claimed they were from Amazon. I Don’t have a Amazon account Scam caller

came up as Potential Fraud, left an empty voice mail

Said they were from Telstra calling about my internet. I dont have internet with Telstra. 10/06/2025
