Spam or worse: no message and a "cannot connect" when I rang from a different phone

Caller: Insurance scam

Gives a missed call text without actually calling you - listed as a Potential Fraud number by Samsung and claims to be a Chinese insurance company on a callback. Do not fall for this scam

calls and then hangs up straight away, its happened 3 times within the last 24 hours

Caller: apparently from paypal

tried to elicit security code via 2-factor authentication on email by crafting a whole story. waste of my time, 20 minutes talking on the phone just to realise it’s a scam. trying to break into your paypal account!!!!!

Warned by Telstra suspicious number, did not answer , no message left, landline from Tea Gardens area

Lady with an Indian sounding accent called saying my IP address has gone from private to public. Hung up when I was giving her BS answers

Indian man sayings he’s from the anti theft department of PayPal. Never used PayPal. Also they would never call the contact via email. Please do not fall for this scam

First got two calls from (02) 4072 9145 advising they were from the security fraud team alerting me of transactions completed overnight. It's a scam call as they couldn't advise any information within requesting me to do other steps. Now getting the same scam call from (02) 4072 9143 same messaging. Maitland phone numbers.

Calls then hangs up when you answer, potentially scouting to see who answers then forwards you off to other scammers

Claims that he was ringing from PayPal, keep away from these spam calls. It shows that he is from Maitland, NSW.

Called, no message left.

Claimed to be Amazon. Scam call. Do not respond.

Got a call from this number today claiming to be a security company, was a guy with an Indian accent so spam or call centre

⚠️WARNING: Suspicious calling pattern. That was the message in my screen while ringing.

They called and stated they were from the security team for visa/Mastercard and that some one overseas by the name of Michael someone has made two transactions totalling $1000. I said I'm going to call you back. They said you can't call this line so I said call me back in 10 mins. I have no money missing

SCAMMER CALL - Just called saying they are Telstra and my IP address has been compromised. Said I don't have Telstra and they hung up.
