Claim they were from Amazon and that someone from another country had ordered something on my account and they were using my internet and all my online shopping apps but only Amazon could fix it. Wanted me to type in a code so he could show me the problem. I said I didn’t want to give him access to my phone but he said he would have access I would only see the problem and then he could help me fix it. When I refused he got angry and said “just let me into your phone”. I hung up.

I’m getting about five. Scam causes a day, it’s increasing all the time. Telstra must just sit there all day giving out new numbers to people from India.

Said they are from pay pal had my name but I don't have a pay pal account and when I said this they hung up

I didn't answer it as it came up with a big warning logo that it was a scam number or fraudulent number calling.

Hung up when I answered.

call came from Maitland NSW. Couldn't hear where they were from as too noisy in call centre background. Said my internet connection has showing a fault for the last 3 days , so they need to do something, I just agreed knowing they were trying to scam. then he asked alright?, so I responded by saying "you must think we are all F*****g stupid mate" he went very quiet and hung up. :))) Think I will do that to all these callers from now on, its getting ridiculous!!!!!!

Block this caller. It's rubbish

Caller: "Telstra"

Said they were from Telstra and tried to tell me that my IP address was compromised. Hung up as soon as I told them I didn't believe them.

telcom identified it as a spam call pattern

Caller: Fraud

Didn’t answer. Reached voicemail saying commbank a transaction of $1800 was attempted on my card press 1 it wasn’t me.

Suspected fraud

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra.

Had my first and last name. Claimed that my IP was compromised.

Scam. Claimed they were from PayPal and I had a $700 payment for giftcards, they knew my phone number and email address, even sent me a text to change my PayPal password. I hung up. Definitely a scam!!

Hung up as soon as I said hello

I have received four calls in three hours from numbers (02) 4072 9141 - 9149. Maitland NSW. No messages left.

Came up already has a suspected call from my telco Telstra, call twice didn’t leave a message Wednesday the fourth of June 25

with recorded message asking to 'press 1' if I authorised an $1800 transaction and 'press 2' if I didn't.

Scam. Call location originated from The Tea Gardens (?) Claimed to be from Telstra stating that my internet was messing with the grid amd needed my IP address to resolve.

Didn't answer. No message left. Assumed it was some form of scam.
