I did not answer the number, which then left a voice mail with an automated voice. The start of the message was garbled (probably deliberately) followed by "....will be debited automatically from your account. To cancel press 1. To claim refund press 2. To talk with an operator press 3." I smell a scam.

Missed the call.
No voicemail or message left.
I tried to call back, someone answered and immediately hung up.
There goes my fun for the day 🙄

Left dodgy robotic voice and text message stating $99.99 will be deducted from my account...etc.
I rang the number. They claimed to be Ebay Customer Service and wanted me to provide my name so they could verify me and resolve the issue. I asked them to verify they were Ebay. ..Nope! Scam

I rang the number back and was told that somebody had used my details to
Purchase $9.99 in gift cards from one of three different bank cards, none of which I bank with. Guy had a foreign accent and hard to understand

I do not answer any calls I don't recognise. A poor recorded message was left on my voicemail claiming an ebay purchase of $299.99 was to be deducted from my account.
Dial 1 for this, dial 2 for that ...Where was the option to self destruct Mr Phelps ?
