So far, Caller ID (02) 4072 0865 has a history of being a scam call. This number has been found to be fraudulent. The last time this phone number was reported as a scam was on 25 May 2022.

Just got a call from this number - SCAM!

Caller: An Indian guy

He knew my name and I asked him how he got my name and who was he. He immediately hung up. I then called the number and they had a recording saying it was Amazon marketing and to leave message. Sick of being called but worried now somehow they have my name.

Caller: Scam pretending to be Telstra

Called me pretending to be Telstra. Got very agressive when I called them out and told me they had all my personal details and would release them 🙄. Reported to scam watch.

Fraudulent/phishing scam call. Spoofed Caller ID. Purporting to be eBay/Telstra/Amazon/NBN. Call originating from Indian call centre.

Do not disclose or 'confirm' any personal or financial information. Do not download any software or allow remote access to your devices.

Said they called about my electricity account and there would be lower charges. Didn't make sense to my situation and hung up.
