Supposedly Ebay calling saying they're about to post item and I will be charged $299. To stop this I had to call them. Total scam, EBay never has called me and they called on my partners phone and he has never had an EBay account.

Had a message on my mobile bank to call this number. Same as another contributor - Rang number which claims to be an eBay representative stating that someone from China has purchased a gift card for a budget rent a car to the value of $249 via ebay using my mobile number. Then proceeds to try and get you to download an app to reverse the charge. Scam.

I got a call from someone today saying they were from eBay and that someone called Wan Su had used my number for a gift card. They wanted to put me through to someone to “confirm details and numbers “etc.......it has scam written all over it.

The call came to my mobile number so I called them from my work land line. The woman that answered was quite pushy and sounded frustrated. She said I had a gift card and that someone has opened a temporary ebay account in my name. I could hear others in the background on the phones. Must be a total set up! Insisting I complete a form with her help to stop any purchase. I have never transacted with ebay for anything. buying or selling. Scam.

Robo call telling me that someone had bought a gift card for $249 and if I was not the person who purchased the gift card to call another number to reverse the transaction. At the end of the call they stated they were from Ebay Care.

Apparently ebay calling and that I'm going to get charged if I don't call back. Clearly a spam.
