Caller from Vodaphone ( as he claimed). Calling the office twice now, He was telling his manager wanted to discuss a proposal with the person who handling the Telstra Business Account , because of merger of Telstra and Vodaphone would take impact with the discount blah blah blah and with that he could set up our account, then a face to face meeting. I told him I will call him and get his phone number ,then he gave the different number (03 )9068 9945. I told him why his phone number not from NSW, and he said he was calling from Melbourne Office. A bit strange, because if there is a proposal, there should be sending through email.

Got a call today saying he was from Vodafone, and asked me which company I am with, try to send me a proposal blah blah blah, once he asked me how many numbers I am using, I just told him that I don't want to tell him, and hang up the phone. Vodafone won't call any random number to discuss any proposal, I think.

Googled by the number was rining, as all the messages here say its a scam, I've opted not to answer it. Certainly not expecting a call from NSW and certainly not based on who others say the person was calling from. I would do the same for anyone else calling this number.

Scam called from vodaphone acting like they are taking over Telstra and yet we don’t have either network

Claimed he was from Vodafone and wanting to change my phone plan to one of their new ones (merging with Telstra or something like that). I stopped him and blocked the number.
