Caller: They said they were from EBAY It starts off as an automated message saying that they are from eBay and that you have a purchase of $299 that is going to be deducted from your account immediately. You are given options to talk to a person. I did choose to go through to a person because I knew this was just a scam. When I called the guy out on a scam he started swearing at me, and saying we can scam you because you’re all stupid and that’s why we do it. After I hung up on him, he continued to call over and over again. Very aggressive. Do not fall into this trap & educate your family and friends about this sort of phone call.
