Trying to threaten with loosing 99.00 if I don't call them. Called them and they hung up. Have reported on scam watch and blocked number

After looking up number, Happy I didn’t answer this call.
Suspected it was a scam as I don’t know anyone in Newcastle
Blocked this number now.

I answered woman said is this Christine I said yes she hung up

When I said I was unwilling to discuss whatever they were promoting, he told me to get lost - twice!

same as everyone else scam call from some indian about ebay.

recorded message said they were from ebay and money was taken from my account and gave me a number to ring them back to confirm. pretty good considering i haven't bought anything from ebay ever

Automated message from "eBay" saying they will debit my account for $299.99 for a purchase. Call back or press 1 if I didn't authorise this purchase.
Definitely a scam!

Scam call about fraudulent purchase on eBay then asking you to install some app which will give them access to your phone.
