Believe it’s scam

Spam callers use online SIM cards & spoof available local numbers to pretend they’re local & innocent to scam money from you. If you don’t recognise a number, block it. If the call is important, they would leave a message or contact you via email.

Rang at 6pm from Newcastle

Keeps calling my work number then hanging up when I answer, cannot call back to tell them to f*ck off.

Heavily accented South Asian woman called today and started with the usual "we can get you a better deal on your electricity account" spiel. Kept demanding I tell her what provider I was with just after I told her which was a dead give-away as she didn't know what "Energy Locals" is and just pushed on asking me several times which provider I was with. Then told her it sounded like a scam call. When she went on this riff trying to justify she wasn't and then said I could terminate the call at any time I then hung up immediately. Unfortunately, once these scammers have your number, you're on their system and your number will keep coming up to be called day in, day out.In that case, have some sport with them, I say. If they're scamming people then they deserve to be toyed with.

Just another of the multitude foreign cold-callers spoofing a local number.
Block it and move on.

Left no message.................

Waited 10 minutes, and they didn't call back or leave a msg,

Has called three times but not left a message.
Tried to call back but says number not connected.
