Scam

Left a message that I made an order costing $299 that would be debited within the hour. Robotic and automated message. No company name left

Robo call, going to deduct $299.99, select an option via number selection.

Caller: "AMAZON"

Claiming to be AMAZON - Initiates with ROBO message about a $200 charge. Diverts to a person who states name is 'Ryan from the Amazon' Head office in Newcastle. SUSPECT activity. I wouldn't give him my name so he hung up on me.

Caller: Indian guy

Guy with indian accent called me to enquire if I ordered something from Amazon this morning, to which I said No. He then said the amazon account was linked to my mobile number. I replied that I did not have this mobile number linked to the amazon account as it was my work number. He said Bye and hung up.
He obviously was lining me up to gather some details etc but as soon as he knew that I was on to it he hung up.

Definitely a scam - don't answer or call back - take 2 minutes and report them to scamwatch if they call you https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/ - the more people who report, the more likely action will be taken.

These people called me twice in a row.

Caller: claimed to be Amazon Prime robotic voice recording

Said money was about to be deducted from my account within the hour.

Same calling be non stop for two days - claiming to be amazon and hanging up when I finally spoke to someone they said I owned money I said I have no Amazon account - they hung up!

Scam.. Claiming to debit money unless i contact them.

Robot message saying I needed to deposit $$ within the hour. Said they were from Amazon Prime. Scam

Caller: Some rude Indian scammer

Always the same story. Don’t be taken in by their rudeness and their pressure tell them they are a scam and hang up

Yes Scam.... weird robotic message left with no id. Same withthe number suggested to cancel "my order" BS.

Got a call from "Amazon" saying I have a $299 debit coming out of my account . It was an automated recorded message and then to speak to someone ihad to push 1 I spoke to an Indian guy saying he was from Amazon in Newcastle he asked for my name and I refused. SCAM
