China Shipping Insurance scam call

said my phone service would be disconnected ....Believed to be fake

Caller: Phone call from Newcastle NSW area

Didn’t recognise the number so didn’t answer. Apparently from Newcastle NSW area.

Caller: unknown

Call from a female robotic voice saying "Your number will be unusable in 2 hours, please transfer to customer service now." I hung up before any more could be said. The number was localized from Newcastle NSW (scary because that's a city near me.)

Stated my medical practitioner details needed updating, push one for English speaking customers,2 for Chinese…bla bla

Caller: Chinese Scammer

"Press ONE for English service and press Two for Chinese." Then female robot voice in Chinese saying "Can you told you do you know how much you can tongue since I can fool you and she didn't touch you..." Clearly a message to get Chinese speaking people to hang up and only scam English speaking people.

Called saying something about my phone is going to be unusable within the next couple of hours. Like the other comments say- it's a scam. Don't answer! Sometimes they just want
to see if your number is still active for future scams too.

Scam coming from faked Newcastle number. I dont have any contacts in Newcastle so didnt answer. Strange garbled voicemail. I blocked it.

I missed the phone call and tried to ring back as it said the caller was from Newcastle (my home town) and it said their message bank was full so came online to check apparently it’s a scam so don’t answer guys !
