Caller: "Amazon'

number was (02) 4017 0251. I received a text telling me I had bought a camera from amazon. So I called the number, they claimed they were amazon and that I had bought a camera and then said my account was hacked. They had all the details of my account - the last four digits of my credit card, my last purchase and so they must have hacked my computer first and gotten my password. They said they would call my bank to report a hack on my card and asked me which bank it was - by then I was suspicious as Amazon would tell you to call your bank. I said I would call them back and the person got rather angry when I said I didn't believe it was amazon. They asked me to reset my amazon password and also asked me to tell them the OTP sent to my phone - obviously they then wanted to still hack in. Very clever scam with the security texts etc - they even said there was a new delivery address on my Amazon account. When I later logged into Amazon none of what they said was true. Be careful

Mum got a bug on her computer claiming her PC was hacked and the sound increased in volume. She panicked and called this number the person on the other end (indian accent) was asking her to type in info to run an execution file so he would take control of the PC. This is a scam beware!

You missed a call from (02) 4017 0251, who said "A lost(?) suitcase is getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department division no. 24017."

Recorded message saying taxation . Hung up Immediately. Knowing it to be a scam . Never ever say " Yes " as they use this word to scam you later

Left a message saying there was a lawsuit against me and that if I didn't call back immediately, they would have to put out a warrant to "get" me arrested. Sounds interesting...

A recorded message, supposedly from Tax Office saying there was a law suit against me and if I did not call back I would be arrested. Hilarious. Waiting for the police.
