Dodgy number. My gut feeling is that this is one to avoid. I only answered because I thought it was one of my friends. Received a cold call (indicated it was from "Maitland") with recorded message telling me that my phone would stop working in a couple of hours, but I didn't quite catch the end of the message. It then (I assume) repeated the message in what sounded like Mandarin. I called back with CID "off" sometime later. A recorded message (by a very born and bred Australian sounding lady - sounded lke the one from the original English version of the call) plays something along the lines of "Welcome to 'bangla' ('vangla'?) dot com..." - something like that. "... best place to shop for online products". Then the usual type of thing, "visit us online", "all agents are busy", "your call is important". I waited to the end of the message, no on hold music, no one picked up, nothing so I hung up. Informing you that your phone is about to be disconnected is a far cry from an online "product" emporium. I smell a scam
