Caller: NBN India call centre claiming to be NBN wanting to upgrade my internet service to fibreoptic free of charge. Insisted I do an internet speed check from my computer (I refused). Don't know why. They have called 7 times in the last 2 days, often from the same number.

Caller: Male caller This call showed as coming from Bullio, NSW. It's the second call I've had from the same number (about half and hour apart). The first caller had an Indian accent and told me his name was Steven, this time the caller (who also had an Indian accent) told me his name was Jack (with background noise of a call centre) and claimed to be from NBN. I told him that I didn't want to talk to him and he hung up.

Caller: some one from Bowral NSW a young lady from one of the great cricket playing nations advised me: "NBN working in my area. Do you know your connection speed? I hung up before they could hack my line. It is widely known that NBN will never call a retail customer. It is beneath them.
