Caller type: Scam call
Location: Australia
Caller: Hoax call from Telstra

Mary (with indian accent) called, and said slow speed was virus and asked what devices I had connected. She listed all types (mobile, tablet, pc, laptop etc...). I said all were connected and then said "one minute".
She kept on with her speal and ask me to log in, which i said i was doing. Kept going for another 45 second. I said just 15 second left.
She said, what, and I said I had logged in.
At 2 minutes, I said "thank you, your call has been traced, you can tell everyone there that we are aware of their scam and have now successfully traced them".
She said "shut up" and hung up.
Definitely a scam.

Scammer trying to get us to log into account to fix supposed internet connection problem with TELSTRA. Asked what devices we used, and what things we accessed - I didn't say. I asked when this problem began and was told two weeks ago - we weren't home and no-one had accessed internet. She hung up on me! Go figure!.
