We don't answer interstate numbers we don't know. Our call identifier revealed This.number called yesterday. The search reveals "this number is disconnected". Why do the Telephone companies allow this - One of them must have allocated the number. I suspect if we had answered we would have been advised that we owe money to the Tax office or that it was " Microsoft" advising we have a virus in our computer. Similar result for (02) 3697 1897 which called this afternoon !

Rings at least 3 times per day midday, mid afternoon and then around 8pm. No answer so I hang up. I don't wait to find out if it is a call centre.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise or ones that are out of my state (02). They left no message and, when I called back, the number was disconnected

This is a number where they try to say they are from (phone company name) and that your computer is sending malicious data and try to scam you out of money to fix it.
