I answered the first time but silence on line and then they hang up.
I have not bothered to try and ring back.
Let it ring now, when my answering machine switches on they hang up.
I live in the Pilbara region of West Australia.
Get a few of these calls every couple of weeks, then nothing for a week or two and starts again.
Spam or rubbish call.

Called and said they were the NBN and that my phone was about to be disconnected. Once I pointed out that NBN was not imminent for my area, they hung up.

I said they were a scam and were just wanting my money etc etc and the lady was adamant she was from Telstra and that the internet in our street was going to be disconnected for a few hous

Didn't pick up. Suspect.

Scam call. Started off by asking if I was...and mentioned my surname. I just said no repeatedly. He went away. Have had several calls from different numbers. Same voice, same opening question. Same scumbag.

Wanting credit card details to stop unsolicited phone calls. Kept ringing and demanding details until i told him where to go and not call again

scam caller claiming to be from Telstra and due to problem with internet it would be shut down within the hour. Missed the call they left a message with an overseas return number

Your internet will be shut down 3 weeks or more.
Hung up immediately when told we would check with Telstra directly

claimed to be from Telstra and wanted to disconnect my internet

Told me they were from my internet server and wanted to refund an overcharge. Wanted bank details. Told them to go away in no uncertain terms

no message ever left
