Automated voice, left a message on my messagebank, told me my internet was being shut off due to it being compromised in Melbourne.

This is a scam call purporting to be from Telstra in an effort to get access to your computer. A recorded message comes on saying one's internet has been compromised and will be switched off that afternoon and asking us to press one for Telstra and 2 for another carrier. I hung up straight away and called Telstra who confirmed this is a scam. Do not press any numbers, just hang up.
