This number is purportedly from the NBN saying service is to be discontinued. Sounds very legitimate at first, saying they have tried to contact me but I must now press a key to continue. Don't answer.

This number has started to call daily, around the middle of the day. Could be connected to upcoming govt election?

Tried to call back, but get a message that the number isn't connected.

Caller: Supposedly Nicole from nbn. Also uses a private number.

This is Nicole from the nbn. We have been trying to get hold of you as your nbn service will be disconnected within 24hours as nbn is now available in your area.

Recording...Nicole from NBN about service being disconnected. Have been receiving calls daily for the last week.

Caller claimed to be from Telstra and said my internet connection was going to be disconnected. I told the caller I deal with my local Testra representative and then the caller immediately hung up....SCAM!!!!

I am getting the same scam phone calls

Complete nuisance and spam call threatening that the telephone line will be disconnected.

Received 3 calls in the middle of the day bit strange 2 were on Anzac Day

Caller: Recorded message "Nicole from the National Broadband Network"

Started to come through as a private number. Now showing as this number. Recording states NBN sign up is required for residence or disconnection will occur. Prompts action (press now etc). Suspect not legitimate.
