I've just been billed $6.60 from third party IG8 PTY LTD . I never sign up to things or enter competitions. Telstra cant tell me exactly what I signed up for for this charge ?? I rang them (IG8) and got a voice recording that it doesn't recognize my mobile number - SCAM !!

had the 19995040 sms the other day and fronted up to local Telstra office complaining about the $6.60 charge and was told that the funds are collected by Telstra and then credited to a third person/company which they have no control over!!
They put a block on all premium SMS for me but yet to see what happens.
also mentioned that every time you access the number you stand a good chance of being billed again.......yet to find out if that is factual also.

Received this binary message 23Aug2015 have also been charged $6.60.I am with Telstra prepaid.Somebody is making a mint out of this.

I am with Optus and they were great in blocking these calls for me $6.60 a pop. Well hidden company. Comes through as an sms with <binary message>
