Got billed $5 six months in a row. Vodaphone no help at all expected me to ware cost. Contacted ombudsman

Got billed for this via Vodafone & also didn’t subscribe. Had to push VF for 20 mins to remove the charge otherwise I was going to contact ombudsman. VF tried to tell me to ring the service provider to remove the subscription & wanted me to ring the number that illegally billed me... ummmm NO!!!!!

They texted me and I got charge 5, I found out when I pay my bill. So I blocked the number and I called Vodafone to cancel that sh*t service. And this month guess what? I didn't get texted at all! And I still get charged 5! What????

This is a clever scam. They ring you and you see it as a missed call and you call it back to see who it is and get charged with the $5 premium service. The inquisitive side of human nature makes you ring back and if you do they get money. Clever you have to admit. Imagine if a million calls are returned.

Vodafone are no help at all. Won’t refund the money. As far as they are concerned, anyone can put a charge against your number and they say you have to pay it. Will not be leaving it there. Everyone should put a complaint into the Telecommunications Ombusman to get something done about this.

Stupid premium SMS. THEY messaged me and I got charged $5. Will be complaining to Vodafone tomorrow and the company tomorrow, demanding the money is refunded.
