I received a text message from this number recently, telling me that I've accrued $30 in 'charges' for a subscription to a games website that I hadn't signed up to, and if I wanted to cancel the subscription all I had to do was text STOP. A quick check of my bill showed my account hadn't been hit with any charges, but it would had I responded to the text. Bottom line is, DON'T TEXT ANYTHING BACK. Instead, defer the number to your phone's spam list and then ignore it completely.
