A couple of calls with a long pause then says 'goodbye' and hand up

Another scam claiming to be from the "Department of Taxation". Voice recording threatening legal action if I ignore the call.

30/10/17. 5pm, I answered this number and a long pause then a record message saying goodbye. I've blocked the number .

called twice, I was in meeting and rejected. tried to call back, says it's disconnected. Now I know it's scammers I blocked the number. thanks everyone.

My guess is that when you answer with your name, they record it and try to use it for name authentication to gain access to banks or any service that authenticates over the phone using your voice or name. Beware

Keep ringing and hang up as soon as answered. I'm reporting this as harassment to the authorities. It does not stop.

Blocked it using iPhone's "Block this Caller" - "Block Contact" function.

Didn't leave a message. Hung up then another call straight away from India. I think they're connected.

Knob end scammers.

Same for me, answered it and no one there. I registered a new domain and business name last week. Today I received a call from India and declined it and also the number mentioned here. I hung up when no one answered me.

Same as others - just registered a domain name and two calls..first silence, then "goodbye". Called back 2nd time and Telstra advises number is disconnected. block

Yep, scam! Called me claiming they provide "web services" basically demanding to (re)design my website - just because I've recently registered a new domain...Very demanding, harsh rude attitude.
