    Scam call
The above number called me supposedly from Telstra in an Indian/Asian voice to warn me my IP address had been violated and my computer had been compromised with software which had already scammed my identity details and important information. Because my computer was now forwarding the virus to other users he was in a position to cut off my internet totally to protect others but he was prepared to spend some time with me free of charge to analyse my computer files on-line to rectify the situation.

I asked if he could name the rogue file and I would delete it myself but apparently that was not an option.

I asked for his ID and telephone number so I could call back and he gave me the above number which doesn't exist and then nominated his personal ID as DL11502.

I suggested that if he believed in God, or in some other Higher Energy Source in the Universe then I hoped for him that that higher power would forgive him for attempting to scam vulnerable people in such a terrible way to source information for his own personal financial benefit. I asked if he had any pride in himself and perhaps he could investigate sourcing more honourable employment.

He hung up and my reverse phone number check showed the number was not connected.
