Female Paki woman called at 2:03pm 18/9/17 and claimed to be from Telstra and my Internet connection is going to be cut off. I told her what I thought and she hung up immediately.
I suspect that she was going to try and get money out of me.

After a delay, and some background noise, a heavily Indian accented male identified himself as Alex from the Telstra Technical Department. Terminated call as this was clearly another 'scam'.

caller said they were from Telstra and were going to turn my internet off for 15 days due to my computer being infected. When I asked them for their Telstra identifying staff member they hung up on me

Caller claimed to be from Telstra and asked if I was the main computer internet user? Sounded very suspicious. Rang off
