This kind of scam has found a way to have different numbers at the source, perhaps through VoIP services. (That's calls made via the Internet.) The recorded voice, supposedly from someone called Nicole,has an Australian accent so it looks like an Australian scam.

claims to be the NBN and is disconnecting my home phone and internet within 24 hours.... nice
