SCAM, do not call the phone number or click on any links it suggests.
Press control alt delete, go to start task manager, select your internet browser and click end task. Your computer should go back to normal

use your spare phone. Get a unlimited phone plan - download a auto redial app and call them constantly.

Exactly what I'm doing. Saving others from getting thru and getting scammed

Got this number as a pop-up when browsing. I called the number, chat for a bit and hung up mid conversation, they called right back! Chat for a bit, tell them my PC is ok now and hang up.
I called back a few more times, eventually they blocked my number and I couldn't get through at all.

They call using an electronic voice that says lodge instead of log and later threaten to report your IP address to the authorities. They mention pornographic sites as the source of your infection so if you don't go there this is a good indication that they are criminals. Also say the infection will send all your log ins and bank details to certain places. SCUM, SCUM sucking SCUM!!
