NOTE: The phone number that sent it was mobile 0402 539 342 (0402 539 342) (0402 539 342)
(The full order number suppressed in case of being tracked by scammers)

I know this is a scam: firstly blocking my number, I investigated.....by calling the 1800 943 509 number - it just rings, beeps, redirects to an endless loop of rings and beeps. Then Calling the mobile 0402 539 342 just ends up at a message bank "The person you are calling is not available, please leave a message after the tone"

Caller: Amazon ?

Received a message from 0412 868 527 stating that it was from Amazon and confirming a purchase (that I did not make) and said call 1800 943 509 to dispute. I did. Call was answered by Indian call centre who asked me for my credit card details. Definite fraud.

It's a scam. They pretend to be Amazon, and then try to get you to let them change your Amazon password. Seems to be an Indian call centre, with access to an Amazon phone and email database.
