MBLOX PTY LTD have added my sisters phon number to their PREMIUM SMS list.
Listed as 3rd Party Charges in the Telstra mobile bill.
They slugged her 7 calls at $5.00 an sms.

This number is a scam. If you advertise something and get a text message, and reply, you will be signed up to alerts by MBLOX PTY LTD, and a month later, your mobile bill waill have a $50.00 " Third Party Purchase " on it. Be warned, do not answer texts from anyone you don't know. I have managed to get a credit from my providors, who say they can't pursue the matter despite being the providors of the 1800 number. Pure Scam, and they got my number from Gumtree, so be careful. Google the above company and see what a scam it is.

This is a scam, you have to phone mobipay 1300 886 534 complain to them and tell them you want this unlisted, copy your bill and fax them 02 5 93601013 and get a full credit

I get charged $40.00 by a 191200 number every month without every subscribed to anything. Telstra is either unwilling to help or unable. Has anybody a hint how to get rid of this scam?

Yes just got stung this month; definitely pays to check the bill!! Contacted Telstra and they were very helpful in blocking this company. Instructed me to text STOP (U/C) to #19785510.

My wife's IPad has been billed by Mobipay Pty Ltd for the past 3 months. Do I contact Telstra or Mobipay?

Ah Ha that is exactly where all these charges have originated from I never had any of this until I advertised on Gumtree and I did reply to a text message on my phone Thank you for this information I have just spent two days on phone to Telstra and the MobiPay Pty Ltd. Gumtree will be the next call.\

Todays Telstra bill included a 7 day repeated charge @ $5.00 totaling $25 from Mobipay.What an immoral operation, at no time have we signed up for this ,{ a company without a Moral Compass}.As pensioners it looks like another multiple visit to Telstra to argue, and forget paying this amount.If Telstra claim its a third party issue then all i can say is poor show and another negative image,remember for every complaint made another 9 do not complaint but bad mouth the company.So sick of this.

My son has just got an $80 third party charge for MBLOX and SALMAT. Not sure what to do from here.

I noticed the 3rd party this bill for $55 rang Telstra and they have put a restriction on premium SMS (?) don't know what effect this will have. Also I have no idea how I ended up with MBOX......can someone tell me how I got scammed????

This number got me for $45.50, I don't always go through account but this time because it was higher I noticed the Third Party charged. First call to Telstra was not helpful. I tried ringing the 1800 895 779 number - got recording this number could not be reached. Rang Telstra back & luckily got a helpful person who credited the money back plus told me to sms 191200 with msg STOP. Let's hope that is the end to it.

Did you have any luck. My 'non signed up to'..MBLOX account was cancelled and SMS blocked and still they come. Ove $1,300 and counting..
Put a complain with the Telkecome Communications Ombudsman. You will need a complaint number from your Telco. Perhaps if we all put enought compliants in the TIO will gets laws changed so the TELCOs, who know about this scam will be made resonsible.

I got an SMS today from Telstra saying my mobile account was 226% over used. When I called them they said to contact MBLOX Pty Ltd on 1800 895 779 but you can't get through. I'm going to a Telstra Shop tomorrow to try and sort it out. I've never answered a text from a 1800 number so no idea how it got on there.

yep got the same. Slugged for $99 rang Telstra they wiped it as i explained to them i dont use the things

I have $59 in thirsd party charges from MBLOX on my telstra bill this month. Telstra have placed a block on my account so this company can no longer charge my Telstra account and they have also refunded me the money.

I have just found out that this number has slugged me for $40 in third party purchases on my mobile I have complained to telstra who have kindly credited my $40 dollars back I cannot get anyone to answer their number 1800 895 779 to cancel or stop this scam BE VERY CAREFUL AND ALWAYS CHECK YOU PHONE BILL FOR THIRD PARTY CHARGES

I was just slugged an extra $99 on top of my normal phone bill for something I didn't agree to. Not happy. I called the customer help line and guess what?? It rings and then cuts out! Awesome

I just been billed $25.25 for 3rd party charges Im going to take this a lot further I have no idea how they got hold of my phone number.
