Got a message on the answering machine to ring telstra and ask for credit manager. Rang back no answer

A woman with a fake American accent keeps ringing me and leaving messages for me to ring this number. When I do ring back the number does not go through. Getting very frustrated with these calls as they ring nearly every day. Surely there is something that they can do to stop these annoying calls.

I had a similar thing happen to me today. They are a pain in the neck as I am a trust no one that asks for your details person now.

Got a call from a private number with a guy with an accent saying he had in important message for me from Telstra and could he have my account details so he could open my account. I didn't trust him so I told him I wouldn't give him my account details which is when he gave me this 1800 number to ring back on to confirm it was legitimate. The number was not connected and I rang Telstra to see if there was an issue with my account and of course there was not. Do not give out your account details to anyone claiming to be from Telstra, always ring them back on the Telstra 13 number to confrim.
