Called them and they called me back asap. They wanted my details and I said NO. They called me back 3 times. I stated that they were scammers and they never called back. Their Return number was (02) 9478 2500. I hope that 1800 816 025 didnt cost me too much.

Twice I received calls about so to speak outstanding bills, I told them the first time I have nothing outstanding and to never call back. Today, another call from 1800 816 025, claiming to be Telstra credit management and a bill of $170 outstanding and to call them back on this number. As if. I do not have anything outstanding with Telstra at all.

A lady with an Indian accent left a voicemail on our office phone at 6.30pm asking us to call back on 1800 816 025 and that she was from Credit Management. She didn't actually say what company she was from so assumed it was a scam

They call up with all the correct details of the Telstra account, including payment balances and names of the user.

Telstra has a data leak, how else do Telstra explain the amount of information these people have when they are not Telstra but scammers.

I received a call from this number and got suspicious and hung up. I called Telstra 132200 and confirmed the call was from them. It was in relation to an overdue account that had indeed been opened fraudulently. I was advised to call VEDA and request notification should anyone else try to open credit and/or accounts in my name.

I have rang Telstra who have put a trace on my line to try find out who these people are. They are scammers using Telstra as their alias. DONT give them any details. They will ring again.

sounds like a telstra operator who claims your bill is overdue and offers to take credit card details over the phone. Have called telstra complaints who tell me the number is definitely not Telstra.

Caller: Private number - but was told to return the call to pay my bill on 1800 816 025

So I received two private number calls in the past two days from the same middle eastern man claiming to be from Telstra billings. Skeptical, I offered to take a message when he requested to speak with the account holder (me). While still on the call, I looked up the given number (1800 816 025) and found these reviews labelling them as scammers. Frustrated, I confronted the caller as a scammer, abused him, then hung up.

Around 10 minutes goes by and I soon realise that my phone has become disconnected, leading me to believe it was indeed Telstra, and I had wrongly accused the poor guy. Later, I called the number and realised it was a legitimate call to sort out my bill. Whoops.

Received a scam notice pretending a Telstra suspension notice (we do not use Telstra at all) request to call telephone number 1800 816 025 or set up an internet or bpay account to pay overdue invoice to avoid disconnection. Beware, the scammer is trying to steal your account details and wipe money out of your account.

Caller: Scammer calling as Telstra

1800 816 025 - had the audacity to leave a message to call back this number. Telstra needs to track down these illegal operations preying on unsuspecting victims.

1800 816 025 is a scam pretending to be Telstra account or credit dept. If you call them back on this number, you will get $$$$ stolen from you.

Claiming to be Telstra Credit Management

They couldn't provide account number and stated owed large sum of money for a closed account

My ex husband and I seperated our numbers several years prior.

I also got a call from 1800 816 025. Did not answer. Then got a voice message - "Important message for (my name). This is not a telemarketing call.". I was advised to call 1800 816 025 to discuss my account usage. I never reply this type of calls.

Its still doing the rounds though now its an automated message telling you that you need to call 1800 816 025. The scary bit is the automated message says "this is a message for "MY NAME HERE" ..." which suggests that a Telstra customer list has been leaked somewhere!
