Caller: Scammers

Scammers called from another number trying to perpetrate a credit card scam. I was able to keep them chatting for 15 minutes. When they ran out of patience (or papadoms) they wanted to call me back. I told them I'd call them, and they gave 1800 425 425 as the number to call them back on.

Caller: Richard from “Sun Energy”

Called several times in the last two weeks. Claims to be from Sun Energy representing the Victorian Government wanting to obtain personal information to arrange free light bulbs. Either quotes 1800 425 425 as a number to call back on or simply hangs up when questioned for more information. This is clearly a scam.

These people keep calling and calling up to 10pm every day. When I spoke to them they said it is my fault they are calling as my computer is sending them an error?? I asked numerous times what they want to do and they do not tell me?? They said they will keep calling. They claim to be "Windows 35" and when I asked what they do they replied "don't you know?"

Im not sure if this is legitimate or not

Claimed to be calling on behalf of Windows for the computer. I stopped her speaking & asked for her number that I could call her back. She quoted 1800 425 425. The call terminated. There was no mention of leasing anything
