These clowns are scamming to get u into a Paypal account if u have one. But the sms they send has Pay.pal written with a period between the name Pay and Pal. Stay aware pple. Stay safe and vigilant. Karma will bestow those who feel no concern living by deceit. Karma. And Karma is real.

Of course, this is not true and obviously a scam of some sort

Caller: This was a text message to my mobile phone The message was purported to come from Pay Pal saying that a very large amount had been charged to my Pay Pal account and to phone the above number if I disputed this - when I phoned the number above on my Private Line the number answered and then hung up. I rang Pay Pal and they said it was a scam and that they were getting many of these types of calls at the moment.
