Caller: Gabriel-wouldn't give name or any details about the call details

Did the usual request name and DOB...I refused. She called about a traffic violation for a recent overseas trip over 12 months ago. Said that
I had been told and that if i didn't provide information to them I would be responsible for further costs. Asked for DOB several times, I refused, whether i had visited the said country and said they would email me details and would text me to confirm. They did not have my mobile, email or address. I gave them no information as this was a fishing exercise. Women was Australian working under the name of Gabriel. Don't confirm any details with them. I didn't. they get fed up and start to become rude and dismissive and threaten to hang up..

Don't call them

Keep getting SMS from different numbers asking me to call Resolution Teams on 1300 961 916. Have never called them. Interestingly, reading the comments above we received a letter in the post last year about an outstanding bill with Avis (we had a hire care in NZ in March 2020) for $88 but no clarification as to why. Never paid it.

Dumb me gave them the avis detail that was sorted
So now they keep ringing me and asking me for payment for avis

got a call from +64(0)0269322 saying they are from AVIS Australia request name and DOB I refused and she sais ok I send you a number to call back and I got the text to call back 1300 961 916 Avis Australia regarding quote 1036585. They are basically just after name details and DOB etc.

I received a phone call asking me to confirm some personal details such as my full name, D.O.B, address and email in reference to a debit that I need to pay. I gave the personal information. After the phone call I thought there was something wrong and decided to research about it. Now I'm believing that it was a scam. They already sent me a message asking to call a number 1300 961 916) and sent me an email requesting the payment which I didn't do as I'd never been to the place that they say I had a debit. I'm worried because I gave the information and I don't know what they can do with that. I would like to be ready in case they do a next move. Could someone please give me a some advice?

Obviously a scam. A very demanding message with no details provided.

Caller: Text and phone that you can’t ring back

Scammers??? Again wanted all my details wouldn’t say what it was about. Told them if it was a debt to send me proof of debt told they wouldn’t do that.
