Caller: Indian Caller supposedly re: NBN connection Very pushy character. Initially appeared as if he was from NBN. Wanted to make our phone NBN ready by providing a free modem and 2hrs of free technical support, followed by a one-off connection fee ($79). On questioning, he eventually claimed to be a Service Provider with Melbourne Phone(s). Could not find any such company. This 1300 number may be related to (03) 8579 6707, as since the initial call we have had several calls from this second number.
