Up to their old tricks again. Claiming to be credit Corp using this number. Google the actual credit Corp and ring their proper number. Should sort it out in no time

It comes from "credit corp". We phoned the number listed on the SMS, and found that somebody had sent the wrong phone number to this organization (which is a reputable company - google it!). They removed our phone number from this guy's account.. Take note they are LEGIT - it's people putting in the wrong phone numbers to this organization that is the problem!

I had a text from "Credit Corp" other day saying a recent payment has not been received and my arrangement is now cancelled. Please call on (02) 8114 5324 to discuss. Number not even connected! Scam for sure!

Just received an email from "credit corp" stating I owe $212.18. It further stated "It has been our experience that many of our customers receive tax refunds from the Australian Taxation Office at this time of year. If you are receiving a return, you may be in a position to take advantage of a special offer Credit Corp is making available to our customers, to help reduce debt levels.
For a limited time, Credit Corp is prepared to accept a discounted settlement amount of $106.09 in order to finalise this account. This represents a discount of 50% and a saving to you of $106.09. This discount is available for the duration of this offer only.
This offer is conditional upon the full discounted amount being paid no later than Thursday 15th September 2016. To take advantage of this opportunity, simply call Credit Corp on 1300 070 259 to discuss payment options.
When your account is finalised, Credit Corp will update any outstanding default in relation to this account that may exist with the credit bureaus. This may be critical to your credit rating and your ability to apply for future credit.
This once-only offer represents a genuine opportunity for you to settle this account. If you are unable to take advantage of our discount offer, we encourage you to contact our office to discuss a suitable repayment schedule. Where applicable, this may include a reduction in the account interest rate upon receipt of a mutually agreed lump sum payment, if receipted prior to Thursday 15th September 2016".
I have no idea what they are talking about. Checked the 1300 number with credit corp website and it isn't the same one. All I can say is it is a scam. So dont open the email if you receive one.

Getting so many emails from these guys basically informing me I owe $1200 (which I don't) but they are willing to cut me a deal and just pay $500 to clear it all up and avoid a black mark on my name. Most definitely a scam.

I can't believe there have been comments about this as far back as 2012! I got a message from this number the other day asking for Luke to discuss an important business matter. I figured that it was a wrong number but after reading this I think that they probably make money off of replies to that number!

Just bought a brand new prepaid Telstra mobile today, still in the box.
When I put the SIM card in and turned it on, two messages from this mob, addressed to "Phillip" immediately appeared.
The SIM card was new in the box with the phone.
This is ridiculous.
