Worst of all when these scammers call they have already hacked into your phone. They are based in Mandurah WA. There is a charge if 82 cents on the phone bill of everyone they call. I've tried contacting Telstra the real Telstra and they cannot trace these people

(In reply to Anonymous May 24, 2019 - Upped the ante) Feel free to ignore them if you like, but since they are claiming they have the legal power/authority to Arrest you, I'd call your local police and see what they have to say.

(in reply to Anonymous May 24, 2019 Death Threat): If they did, please call the police immediately. I'm pretty sure there's something in the normal Telstra phone books that say to do that.

These stupid, persistent lowlife scammers, calling from what are doubtless spoofed numbers, are now threatening us with arrest for fraud or something instead of telling us we'll have our internet disconnected if we don't press 1 to speak to a technician. (I only hear part of the call because the robot-with-no-brain speaks through my answering machine's recorded greeting.) How I wish we could instantly consign these pests to perdition.

Caller said it was Telstra calling and I was involved in fraudulent activity that could lead to my being arrested if I didn't answer the phone. Threatening tone to the voice.

Claimed to be from Telstra and that fraudulent activity had been detected and unless I pressed 1 to talk to Telstra I would be arrested!
