A very suspicious call from this number, automated message claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank and asking for my PIN.

I had a phone call from this number today saying there was “an issue with my account” The person spoke English clearly and the number was calling from Perth. He knew my first and last name then started asked me to confirm my full name, date of birth and address. When you call them back it sounds exactly the same as the Commonwealth bank but it is NOT them and I confirmed there was no issue with my account nor did anyone try calling me from the Commonwealth Bank. The lady from the actual Commonwealth bank stated that they have been bared from calling that number and confirmed it’s a scammer! Be very careful who you speak to over the phone!

I called back number (08) 9468 7850 reached IVR for commonwealth bank.

I got call from this number claiming from ATO & I have to pay tax for making mistake. He said I will be arrested if I don't pay the outstanding balance. I was excited to know more. called him back 10 times to find out why police hasn't arrived yet. He got frustrated and blocked my number...Had great fun....Just keep asking questions...LOL.

Left a voicemail on our machine in a robotic voice claiming to be issuing a personal arrest warrant for outstanding money.

No reference number was left, no names, no company mentioned - just a phone number.

Its 100% not Commonwealth, the ATO or any reputable company/bank.

Dont give any information

Asked for part details to confirm identity have answered these calls before... not any more broke than usual

SCAM!!!

Automated message claiming to be commonwealth bank, asking for netbank code and credit card number

I called them back and got a very professional sounding recording from the 'Commonwealth Bank' asking for Netbank ID and /or account/credit card details to be given over the phone!!!

Don't do it - that is not how the Comm Bank works!
