Numerous calls during the day over several week. Really annoying for shift workers. Usually hangs up when we answer but tonight asked for husband by name, women hung up when told he was not available. We are on the Do Not Call Register. If caller doesnt appropriately identify themselves, as was in this case, then its got to be some sort of shifty scammer.

They called me twice today,I answered the second time and they identified themselves as being a children's charity,
as far as I am aware being on the do not call register does not stop calls from charities,political parties or companies you deal with already like your phone company etc.

When questioned,they reply,''must have wrong number''.Yes and we are on the donot call register.

Call every day and don't leave a voice message but can hear heavy breathing! Am wondering what the Do Not Call Register is even for?!

Answered call but it immediately hangs up. No connection on call back. Has rung every day for the last two weeks.

I received a phon call from this number today and asked to pay $4000 to the tax offfice ASAP, They connect my tax consultant and make it real , I lost money ,

I returned a missed call from this number & the male asked me what time the call was made, my name & address ( which I didn't provide ) . I then decided to hang up. Several minutes later , I received a text message of a recorded voice stating " there is a lawsuit issued under my name & if I don't call back I will be arrested " !!!!

Keep calling me and i miss the call, they don't leave a message. Answered today and man with a strange voice (not very confident, kind of breathy) says he is from 'Disabled Children's Foundation' and thanked me for previously supporting them and do i want to purchase Christmas cards. I declined. Then looked up the register of charities, there is no such registered charity in Australia.

Received a call. Got a quick phone beep and they hung up. Called back immediately received a message " this phone is no longer is use blah blah blah. Doesnt sound like the normal Telstra voice. Sounds like a made up recording for people who call back. This happened immediately after recieving a phone call from the "taxation department". Becareful

Seriously i get not stop missed calls a day and when i am about home to answer it disconnect but another line display up and I can here a number being dialled in the back ground? scam alright !!!

Have had multiple calls from this number over the past 2 days. It's on a number that we never answer and they never leave a message. Annoying though. And yes, we are on the do not call register

(08) 9468 7341 Keep getting calls from this number ( a woman with a false put on type voice ) who asks for Mrs Simpson. Have asked them to take it off marketing list countless times but if you try to ring the number back I get a recording the numbers been disconnected? I am on no ring list also.

Yep they call around lunch time and never leave a message.I'm on the Do Not Call Register but that only helps to a degree.I have to screen my calls all the time.

Annoying ++ Ringing home phone a number of times. No messages left and if you pick up there is no answer.
We are on the Do Not call Register but this number has got us repeatedly.

Has anyone been caught out by this number?? I purchased a note pad off them thinking it was for a fundraiser!!

Calls everyday never leaves a message or speaks if you answer the call.

they are at it again today. best things to do is contact your sp. eg. Telstra,iiNet or other and keep hammering them because they can put filters on their server units. They are more interested in making money than protecting their customers from scam callers.
