Caller: Someone who identified themselves as PDF Suite software support I did install PDF Suite back in 2015 and paid for it online. Then a tech called and took control of my computer for an hour to install it - which I thought was a bit weird. I did try to purchase it again when I changed laptops, paid the money ($73.63) but found the old files on my backup drive and installed them instead. Over the course of the next 3 yrs, I keep receiving emails saying I can get the upgrade as I have already paid for it.
I have been ignoring them until last week. I sent an enquiry asking if it would be the 2019 upgrade and received a phone call from this number - (02) 8003 7153 asking if they could have access to my computer to upload 2019. I said that is not possible as I have sensitive data on my computer and am not allowed to grant access. I said I checked it out online and if they just send me the link - I will download it myself. The guy was a bit miffed but agreed to send me the link - which I never received. I checked his number and called back and was told by the operator that it was disconnected. I then checked the number above (08) 9467 9804) that was listed in their email - and can now see it is a scam.

Caller: Brad Follow up to previous call claiming from Adobe Acrobat about an order placed in 2020 and not activated. Checking both numbers , this and (03) 9028 4068 it is clear the whole thing is a scam ,and by getting OK to access you computer, he is fishing for information for use elsewhere. Bin the letter and don't let him access.

I received an email saying I had purchased PDF Suite in 2020 and not activated it with an offer to activate for free an update. I have not purchased PDF Suite. I deleted email.
