They said they were from the technical dept of Telstra, so I’ve looked on here & of cause the number is not registered! I’m getting so sick of these calls, I’m also registered with the do not call register!

And, while I've got you, there was a problem with OVERCHARGING my last account. I'll just go and get my last bill..."

Caller: Some scam caller with an Indian accent. He claimed to be from Telstra technical department and wanted to check my internet connection, I played along for a while and he asked me to press some keys on my computer so that he can check my computer remotely,(as if I would let anyone access my computer over the internet), I had my computer turned off and I just kept saying to him, "nothings happening " and he kept saying try again and I kept saying, "still nothing happening" and he said , "what is on your screen " and I replied "the screen is blank ", he asked if the computer was plugged in and I said "yes of course ". I kept this going for a while and he asked again "are you sure that the power is on" and I finally said that I don't have any electricity where I live, and he said "sir why don't you go f@ck your A$$," and then he hung up the phone.
The next time It was a similar caller and he asked the same thing and to press certain keys on my computer and I said" yes something is happening" and then exclaimed that it had opened up an Indian porn site and then I said "I think it's your mumma ", I then went on to describe what his Mumma was doing in the porno movie. He then hung up the phone. I hate scam callers wasting my time so occasional decide to have a bit of fun and waste their time.
I often get the calls from an Indian woman trying to flog investment schemes and they say that they can reclaim all this tax money that even my accountant does not know how to do. They usually say that they are in my area right now ( which I am sure is mot true as they are in a call centre somewhere ), so I usually say that if they are in my area they can come around and then I say, "bring a bottle of wine and wear some sexy underwear". This usually results in them hanging up very quickly.

Have had several calls from this number which just rings and hangs up. ( 3 today so far) However I believe this is also a scammer who tried the Telstra Tech Support scam. We had words yesterday or the day before - I listened and was nice for a while then told him I would track him through the Dark Web as he was a scammer and scum ( among other things) He stayed on line and swore at me many times while I laughed - I must have upset him. He had a thick Indian or Pakistani accent and his name was John LOL. When I get a female trying the same scam I call them prostitutes which dreadfully upsets them. LOL
