Someone called "Ray" claiming to be calling on behalf of the ATO wanting to know if I qualified for "The Federal Government Home Owners Tax Incentive". Thinking it was most likely a Scam I listened to "Ray" waffle for a few minutes then told him I would look up the ATO website for details and ring back once I'd confirmed the authenticity of what he'd said. The number he gave me to ring back was (08) 9304 3633 and, of course, nothing of what he'd said was available to read on the ATO site.
