anl, I wouldn't assume he means any threat - google "funeral insurance", it's apparently a real product, though whether it's value-for-money is another question entirely. Whether he's a telemarketer or a scammer, I don't know.

it is wise to not answer this call, as caller ask you if you have funeral plan with implying a threat in nature

The call came in on our home phone (unknown caller) and I didn't answer as it seemed a strange number. I suspected it of being a scam. Perhaps not. Wondering if anyone else has received calls from this number.
