They identified themselves as Orion Services and then told me they weren't trying to sel me anything - but then started blithering on about funeral insurance. I told them I am on the Do Not Call Register and he said, "But yes, we are not trying to sell you something" and kept going!!! I told them I was going to report him and he just argued with me they were not trying to sell me anything and are just telling me about beneficial information!! I had to hang up!! For the record Orion Services - if you are reading this.... YES, I am going to report you for your blatant disregard and disrespect for my privacy once you were informed!!

They called me regularly (everyday) at first. Now they call me now and again! its reallly frustrating because no one is even on the other end

Interesting that the number is 'disconnected' if you try to call back. Just blocked them on my mobile so hope that will be the last.

Driving me nuts, rings nearly every day. Never anyone on the other end. We run a business from home so can't even say we will ignore the phone ringing as we have to run to the phone to check the number.

This number calls several times a week and sometimes several times a day. I am registered on the Do Not Call register with Australian Communications & Media Authority (ACMA) and when I advise them of this they hang up but it does not have any effect on the number of calls. I have been advised by ACMA as follows: "If you continue to receive telemarketing calls or marketing faxes once your number is registered, it is important to note down and provide the ACMA with: •the time and date of the call or fax •the phone number on which the call or fax was received •your phone service provider •the details of the call or fax or a copy of the fax
The more information you can provide us about the call or fax you received, the more effectively we will be able to handle the matter. am collecting the following information I have been getting the same " It would probably be helpful if everyone affected collected information and lodged a complaint so that ACMA have enough to act on.

this number calls me several times, they hang up most of the time, they try to sell you funeral service, if they ring me again, i will sell them funeral insurance and they wont ring eVER again

Same... repeated calls and either no one or it takes a few seconds for them to connect. they are pushing funeral insurance

This number calls me several times a week, and no one is on the other end for a while after picking up the phone. I'm sure if I waited another 5 seconds a foreign salesperson would connect to the line and try to sell me insurance or something (this has happened before with what seemed like the same/similar number).
Just ignore it if this number calls, or hang up after a few seconds once you don't hear anything.
