a charity looking for donations

SCAM - Please watch out for this number posing as many different charities asking for cash donations

This is a telephone scam, we have had a call today,4/11/15, from the same number. We rang the Cancer Council in Adelaide and they know nothing about it !!!!!
We have reported it ot the ACCC Scam Watch and Tasmania Police.

The caller wants cash donations for "so called" houses on the mainland for cancer patients and their families when they go to the mainland for treatment.
Tasmania has some very good cancer treatment centres and very few people, if any, are sent to the mainland.

Please be very aware!!!!!!
