I too have received many calls from this number and they usually hang up after I answer..until yesterday...they are scammers!!! Do not give them any details,do not trust the caller under any circumstance. They are not from Origin!

got a call of this number and everytime i call back no answer abit sus i think

Received a call from this number, Indian dude claiming he was from Origin Energy. Said that I was late for my Gas bill and wanted my credit card details to make a payment. I told him no, and if i was to make a payment I'd pay by Bpay. Then he asked if he could call me back later to get bPay details.. No way!! gggrrr.. Hate Scam artists!!!

I just got a call from this number no answer no call back They rang me on a Sunday recently trying to get me to sign up.. Origin say it's not there number (08) 8205 4000 I rang 132463 and got an Australian..

I have also recieved several calls from this number,how they got it im not sure as i dont often give it out, again i tried calling back and it was engaged,surely there could be some one who could look into this.

I have gotten repeated calls from this number. When you call it back it is always busy. They leave messages if you're not home with a return call of a mobile number. They are indian speaking and extremely difficult to understand. They state they're from Origin Energy and want to talk about your electricity account. They provide some of your details, ask you to confirm them and ask you for more of your personal details. They are not from Origin Energy or any other electricity company. I have checked. The post above from 'alwaysus' is not correct. I am NEVER behind in bills or anything like this. This is not what this call is about. They are a SCAM. Aiming to defraud you of money. They want your bank details and will pretend to set up a debit to your account and take your money.

They call me often fro (08) 8205 4000 i spoke to a guy once yes he was Indian but was very professional.
And even gave me a extension to pay
I confirmed and gave him the info he asked.
Should i be concerned??
