My Samsung phone told me it was a scam so l did not answer it. glad i didn't 😊

scammers alert. same thing. recorded message from "amazon" saying $150 will be debited from for purchase of an item, tell me to call another number. I don't even have an amazon account.

That number called but did not leave a message like others here. Will block and mobile now says that number a Potential Fraud.

Literally just had an automated voice call saying that I needed to authorise a charge of $150 that had been made to a Google Play account. It's a scam - checked here so haven't called back.

missed a call from this number, left a faint auto text read message saying a gift card had been purchased on my account for one fifty dollars & that i had to call back a certain number to be refunded if i did not purchase it. For S&G's i rang the number back (cleverly it is the same area code as the state i live in) & some heavy accented guy answered saying the same as message but did not identify where he was from. so i asked where he was from & he said customer care amazon & that he would put me on hold. i was not put on hold & i could hear echoing & voices in the background that did not sound like an amazon call centre at all. i hung up on him when he asked for details.

i'm assuming they scare you into needing a refund so ask for account details or you bank detailks etc then wipe you out of coin.

so annoying to receive calls like this where they now leave messages, it used to be you could just ignore the calls & block but now they're making you check voicemail too & because the area code is the same as your residence, you check it in case it's the kid's school etc. This is BS & such harassment, i'm over dealing with this

Automated message says you are going to be charged $150 for an amazon gift card. Just a note that no genuine business will send a message recorded with a text to speech application. Any and all calls using such messages should always be considered scammers.

Same deal, saying it's a call from Amazon and $150 will be debited from my account for the purchase of a gold plated something-or-other. Said to call a number and then disconnected. Definitely not planning on calling the number.

Missed call, automated message left saying to call back a us number. I redialled the missed SA Aussie number, male answered saying “Amazon” I said I’d missed a call from this number, got hung up on. Shame, I was going to waste his time a little
