lies Denise, they do send that message when you have a over due credit card, loan payment etc etc

I am receiving annoying recorded calls from this number and also calls with the same number apart from the last digit.
The call recorded message says, "This is the National Australia Bank for" then a different recorded voice says my name in full. Then the original recorded voice says "Please press 1". I cannot find any ID for these numbers on this Reverse Australia website and suspect that someone is scamming me.
An officer with the NAB assures me that the bank would never send such such a message to one of their clients.
